"Lacer/Actions" street-artworks meet Jap Jap's music in a videoclip that shows images from Roberto's huge collection of ripped advertisings. The soundtrack, a preview of Jap Jap's upcoming album "The Ever Expanding Light", inspired Roberto Alborghetti to work on images supporting the music.
The evocative, suggestive and dream-like sound goes very well together with the "Lacer/Actions" images that Roberto Alborghetti takes of city walls and ad billboards from around the world. The clip gathers and mixes up different languages, from street art to video art, from music to photography.
This last year I've been very busy in the studio working on my 4th full-length solo album "The Ever Expanding Light". The digital only release will feature 12 new original relaxing songs. For those who want a preview: I put up the title-track as a FREE download! Another track from the album called "Wind tears" can be streamed on my Facebook page. I'm very interested in your thoughts on these tracks, so please leave me a comment. I appreciate ANYTHING you say!

September 19, 2010: Brim Liski - Fight (Jap Jap Remix)
Brim Liski emerged organically from my long-distance friendship and collaboration with producers Ryan Policky (from A Shoreline Dream) and Justin Gitlin (Cacheflowe) in the U.S. We have put together a self-titled EP for digital release.
"At first listen, it's easy to hear equal parts shoegaze and electronic influences, calling to mind an icy musical child from acts like Depeche Mode & Massive Attack. Imagine a treacherous night trek through an arctic setting, then soundtrack it with these four minutes. It's dark. It's atmospheric. It's beautiful." (Filter Magazine)

December 15, 2008: Dutch Big Prize competition results
The day after my gig I woke up with a feeling of emptiness: what I've been looking forward to for such a long time is now in the past...
The performance was a thrill! Unfortunately, I didn't win the competition. One of the judges approached me after the gig. She told me that the commercial dance-acts that can be programmed "safely", made the most chance of winning. She wanted to give me a figurative pat on the back and let me know I put on a great show with lots of musicality. She also told me that they discussed my act for a long time before rendering their final decision.
The fact that I'm producing a lot of different styles is my strength, but it makes the road to recognition harder. She advised me not to focus on the Dutch market, because here they like to categorize. She mentioned Belgium and the UK. I had hoped the judges could look past this and spot talent and musicality, without questioning if the Dutch audience is ready for it. Acts who define their style so extremely tight, with no room for experimentation and innovation keep winning because it appeals to a broader audience. That's certainly not what I am about. I aspire to evolve...
I gained a great experience and my adventure only just started! I'd like to thank everyone for their support!

March 25, 2008: The new full length album "This Is Where We'll End is out now!
Melodic chillout electronica with dreampop, shoegaze and postrock influences. A blend of ambient electronica and structures, melodies, and rhythms. A connection between the elongated ambience of Boards of Canada and the guitar-sourced drones and sweeps of My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive. Echoing chords, playful melodies and lush, warm sounds. "This Is Where We'll End" is enchanting and epic...
